Installation
Getting started with the Clover Payment Gateway Integration for WooCommerce is simple: download the plugin from our store, and you will receive a zip file containing the plugin and a detailed installation guide.
Before you begin, you will need to locate your Store ID and Shared Secret ID, which will have been shared by Clover during the account set up process.
With these details at hand, you can simply follow the step-by-step instructions to install the plugin on your WooCommerce website. Configure your settings via the WooCommerce admin panel, including supported currencies and payment methods.
For the Payment JS iframe solution, you will also need to generate a REST API Key and API Secret. You will need to link the REST API key with the Store ID, and the webhook URL will also need to be linked with your account. To find the webhook URL, please refer to the documentation provided with your purchase. A request will also need to be made to disable CVV verification. Both methods of payment acceptance are handled by Clover directly, either via the hosted page or payment JS iframe. Customers’ card details are therefore processed and stored by Clover, rather than on the merchant’s server or the Autify Digital plugin, giving peace of mind for compliance related concerns with PCI DSS.
Only relevant information is synced back to your WooCommerce store, including successful transactions or failed payments.
