- Card and wallet payment support – accept all major credit and debit cards and digital wallets and ensure customers can pay using the methods they already use and trust.
- Block checkout compatible – compatible with WooCommerce’s Block-based checkout for improved performance and a more flexible checkout setup.
- Transaction reporting – access a built-in transaction grid from your WooCommerce admin panel to review payment activity, track orders and manage sales data in one place.
- Refund management – handle full or partial refunds from your WooCommerce admin panel without switching to a separate system or leaving your admin area.
- Single configuration area – all gateway settings are configured from a single settings page in your WooCommerce admin panel, keeping initial setup and any future adjustments straightforward.
- All product types supported – physical goods, virtual products, downloadable content and subscriptions are all supported, so the plugin fits your full WooCommerce catalogue.
- Transaction security – all transactions run through Cardstream’s secure infrastructure to keep customer data protected and support PCI DSS compliance.

What Is Cardstream?
Cardstream is an established, independent UK payment gateway built to give businesses secure and dependable payment processing. Merchants can accept all major card types and digital wallets through either a hosted page or an embedded payment form, offering a checkout process that can be shaped to fit their store.
Connecting Cardstream to your WooCommerce store with our plugin means payment acceptance built on proven infrastructure and a checkout process your customers can trust.
Before You Begin
You will need an active Cardstream merchant account before installing this plugin. Autify Digital provides the plugin and integration support, but merchant account setup is handled directly by Cardstream. Please contact Cardstream directly to get your account in place before you begin.
Customise your Cardstream integration
Have a specific requirement, or need the plugin built around your particular setup? Email us at cardstream@autify.co.uk to discuss custom development options that adapt the Cardstream plugin to your business processes and goals.
Installation
Purchase the Cardstream Payment Gateway Plugin from our store. Your order will include the plugin files and full installation documentation.
Before you begin, have your Cardstream merchant account credentials to hand, including your Merchant ID and signature key which are provided when your account is set up.
Follow the installation guide to install and activate the plugin within your WooCommerce environment. Once active, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments to configure your preferred payment methods and adjust checkout settings to suit your store.
Security and Compliance
During configuration, merchants choose between a hosted payment page and an embedded iframe. Either way, payment data is handled entirely by Cardstream. Card details are processed by Cardstream directly, not by your WooCommerce server or the Autify Digital plugin, which supports your PCI DSS compliance.
The only information returned to your store is the outcome of each transaction: confirmation that a payment went through or notification that it was declined.
